Sunday was our Easter celebration at church. We started with lunch in the gym and then an Easter egg hunt. Nate tolerated the egg hunt, he was more interested in the bouncy castles that were set up in the parking lot. We made it to the bouncy castles before the crowd hit and he was pleased to get one to himself. We put Lorelei in the grass and let her play with her basket while we visited and watched Nate jump. I looked over and saw him slide out of the the bouncy castle. He ran over in our direction and then passed me up. As I turned to ask where he was going, I saw his white hiney, pants around his ankles, peeing on a tree! I rushed over to pull up his pants and tell him that when we are at church we go inside to potty. He told me that he peed on a tree because he was outside. I am thankful that he didn't go in his underwear but I think it is time to set boundaries.

Mommy, for Halloween I want to be R2-D2 and C3PO, and Darth Vader, and Chewbacca, that is a lot of costumes.

Me: Why are you putting gold cheese fish between your toes?

Nathan: Because I want to be a robot.

Mommy, when you are a pirate you get to take a shower all by yourself.

When we visit Mawmaw, I want to spend the night at Kee-Kee's house, with Kee-Kee, Kiley and that other baby Riley.

While decorating the Christmas tree he picked up an ornament that had a picture of me when I was little.  He said  "Mommy, I want to play with this girl"  I almost cried on the spot.  I explained that it was me when I was a little girl, so he got to play with her everyday.

Several days later in response to learning that I used to be a little girl,  "I want to be a little girl and you can be a little boy"  ( I will deal with that one later!)

Every night before bed Lorelei gets a bottle. When she is done we go around and get night night sugar. She has the sweetest smile on her face when she gets a kiss from Daddy and a kiss from Nathan. She is nine months old and I love her.
